Why tithe? - Those who call Ahtanum Valley Assembly their church home, regularly give their tithes to the Lord as support to our church. Tithing is a practice of giving 10% of our income to the Lord as taught in the Bible (Malachi 3:10 and Hebrews 7:5). In addition, offerings beyond tithes are given to support world missions and local ministries. By honoring God with our tithes and offerings, we are personally blessed by God (Proverbs 3:9-10), the church is made financially sound, and people’s needs are being provided for.
